We arrive early to kick off the day ahead of schedule and stay late if the celebration’s still in full swing. We don't sweat the small stuff. We know how to handle complicated family dynamics and how to diffuse an awkward situation with a joke or a hug. We are known to cry during ceremonies and first dances. We know how to make awesome pictures before anyone notices you are missing from the party.
With over 10 years of experience photographing more than 500 weddings in St Augustine we know nearly everyone in town (ask your other vendors!) and we have developed a system that lets the day be about you and not about photography.

We've photographed elopements so intimate that we've served as witnesses. Some take place in a St. Augustine backyard, others atop a mountain (far from St. Augustine). What we love about elopements is their slower pace—longer hugs, deeper conversations, and moments that feel profoundly meaningful.
Typically, we capture the pre-ceremony anticipation, like finishing touches and heartfelt hugs, followed by the ceremony itself and the post-ceremony celebration. We include formal photos with family and friends, plus intimate couples’ portraits. Occasionally, we document cake cuttings or special dances. Our goal is to tell the love story you’ve always dreamed of, beautifully and authentically.

Questions that people frequently ask us while planning their St Augustine Elopement
Can I get a video of my ceremony as well?
Absolutely! We can record your ceremony or work with our video partner to provide coverage for the whole event. Send us a message and we will send over additional information!
Do I need to give you a photo list?
We've been photographing weddings for over a decade and capturing those moments throughout the day is our specialty. We'll collaborate with you to create a timeline, ensuring everyone knows the schedule. We'll also assist in compiling a list of must-have family and favorite people photos. Leave the rest to us—we've got it covered!
How long will it take to get the pictures back?
A few days after your event, we'll share a sneak peek featuring a selection of our favorite images. The complete, fully edited gallery will be delivered within two months.
How many weddings have you photographed?
We've had the privilege of photographing over 500 weddings, and each one brings something new. Our passion for capturing love stories fuels us, and we look forward to documenting 500 more.
Are you based in St Augustine? Do you travel?
Yes, we are St Augustine locals. Our studio is located about 10 minutes outside of downtown. We love to travel for destination weddings. When you contact us let us know a little about what you are planning and we will provide the steps on how to make it work!
Do you have insurance?
Yes we do! If your venue requires us to have a special policy with their name on it, just let us know and we get that taken care of for you!

How does this process work?
Some of our couples contact us with a plan while others are just getting started. We have worked hundreds of events and we can give you the inside scoop on locations, venues, restaurants, what permits you might need, you name it. Once we have a plan we can help you build a timeline to make sure that everything flows smoothly.
Does Florida have a waiting period for marriage license?
If you are a non-Florida resident there is not a waiting period. Florida residents have a 3 day waiting period. The waiting period can be waived if you have completed a premarital course with a registered provider. You can get more information on the St Johns Clerk of the Court website.
What if the forecast is calling for wind / rain?
Florida is known for its unpredictable weather so we work with you to create a backup plan just in case we need it. We can slide the times around to try for a good weather window or work with to find a better day. We are also down to go for it and make the best from what mother nature gives us!
We are awkward in front of the camera can you help?
We get it! Our formula involves two awesome people (you), an awesome backdrop, and some awesome energy (us). We love watching our couples warm up as the session unfolds. We love the moment it "clicks" and you forget about the camera and just having fun!
Do I need permits for beach elopements?
For most cases no. The exceptions would be if you have alcohol or larger groups. You can request a Special Events Beaches Permit from the St. Johns County website via this link.
What's the best time of year for St Augustine elopements?
Spring (March-May): Perfect weather, fewer crowds, blooming gardens
Summer (June-August): Warm weather, longer days, but more tourists
Fall (September-November): Comfortable temperatures, fewer crowds, golden light
Winter (December-February): Mild weather, lowest tourist season, intimate atmosphere
