Downtown Jacksonville | Engagement session | Love | Megan + Scott
I love getting to photograph love in new locations and when Megan asked me if I had any ideas for downtown Jacksonville I did my best to contain my excitement. Before moving to St. Augustine 10 years ago I lived in Jacksonville for a short while - and I very much consider it to be our bigger and brighter sister city.
We had to stretch our session a little bit to get in as many of the amazing locations of downtown that we possibly could - and when I saw this photograph with the Jacksonville skyline and the Main Street Bridge in the background I knew it the extra hustle was worth it. :)

Kelly and Lorn's Engagement Session | Casa Monica Hotel | St. Augustine, Florida
For the last couple of weeks or so St. Augustine has been mired in a chilly, rainy, fog - weather that made for a wonderfully moody backdrop for Kelly and Lorn's engagement session. We hid inside of the Lightner Museum and Flagler college before deciding to step outside and play in in rain a bit when we saw this beautiful setting in front of the historic Casa Monica Hotel.

I met Dave and Heather last year at Danielle and Boone's wedding here in St. Augustine, Florida. When Heather asked me if I would be willing to travel to South Florida to photograph their engagement photos - I had to contain my excitement. I am once again trying to contain my excitement today as I get to photograph their first day as husband and wife.
