Downtown Jacksonville | Engagement session | Love | Megan + Scott
I love getting to photograph love in new locations and when Megan asked me if I had any ideas for downtown Jacksonville I did my best to contain my excitement. Before moving to St. Augustine 10 years ago I lived in Jacksonville for a short while - and I very much consider it to be our bigger and brighter sister city.
We had to stretch our session a little bit to get in as many of the amazing locations of downtown that we possibly could - and when I saw this photograph with the Jacksonville skyline and the Main Street Bridge in the background I knew it the extra hustle was worth it. :)

Here is a sneak peek at David and Christie amazing destination wedding in downtown St. Augustine, Florida. They picked 12.13.14 because it had a special meaning to them without knowing it was the same day as the bed and breakfast tour, Flagler Graduation and the annual Holiday Regatta.
The weather was perfect and they celebrated their love as the Willowhacks played and the city buzzed around them. I can't wait to share the rest of the images soon!

Lou and Danielle's big day at the River House in St. Augustine, Florida | Wedding Day Sneak Peek
I met Lou and Danielle at one of those birthday parties where you don't know anyone... they warmly brought me into their conversation and made me feel welcome. We had a great time chatting and at the end of the night when Lou asked me for a card I kept my fingers crossed. Two years later, when my phone rang I did backflips when Lou told me he wanted me to capture their special day.
Well, today is the day. Congratulations big Lou and Danielle. I can't wait to rock the River House tonight :)
